About Us

Hash Farms is a family legacy that carries on…

Before Hash Farm Excavating was a business it was a great childhood memory for Scott. Hash Farm was a family farm where his grandfather Garrell Hash worked. Scott spent a lot of blood, sweat, and tears working on the farm with his grandad. That was where Scott was introduced and learned to work hard, care about others, be honest, be truthful, and most importantly work with heavy equipment.

Scott honors his grandfather with the family name Hash and the work ethic he had instilled in him in his younger days. Scott hopes the business continues to be a successful family business for generations to come with the same values, good work, and good workers in the field and his community.

  • Nikki Kindred (Schroyer)

    TREASURER / SECRETARY

Nikki Kindred is the Treasure/Secretary of Hash Farms Excavating Inc. Nikki began working for Hash Farms in 2020. She began working in the field and only being partially involved in the paperwork department. She learned many odds and ends of the business by being involved in the field work. She gradually became more involved and is now head of office that runs and manages HF.

Before Nikki became an employee of HF Excavating she still was involved with the business. She remembers riding in the work trucks with her dad (Scott) and getting to play in the dirt and ride in the machines with him. She pursued many jobs after high school and even attended college but nothing stuck with her like the family business. Nikki also holds her IOWPA septic installer certificate and she is always willing to tackle a new accomplishment.
